NBA is BACK!

NBA is BACK!

October is always a good month for the basketball fans among us. On Tuesday, October the 18th, the new 2022-2023 NBA season has started again.

Opening Night

The season starts off with a match up between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics. I think most of us are excited to see how the Boston Celtcis of Jayson Tatum will bounce back after they lost the NBA Finals last year against the Golden State Warriors of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. The game will take place at TD Garden in Boston and will start at 7:30 PM ET on TNT.

The second game on the opening night is between the famous Los Angeles Lakers of Lebron James and the reigning champions the Golden State Warriors of Stephen Curry. The Warriors will receive their championship rings tonight. The game will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco and will start at 10:00 PM ET on TNT.

Tanking problem

As most of us know, the upcoming number one draft pick 7’2 (2m19) Victor Wembanyama is the most hyped number one pick since Lebron James in 2003. I think most teams that are the probable 8th seed in the play-offs will try to tank as much as they can. Although the president of the NBA, Adam Silver, already gave warnings to all the teams that if they take it too far there will be consequences.

So I’m excited to see who will get the number one draft pick and how the NBA will react to this.
